Unit Manager for Monitoring and Evaluation

About the Position

In the role of unit manager, you will be responsible for the work within the area of monitoring and evaluation of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Just Transition Fund, as well as for reporting on national support within Tillväxtverket's policy areas. The role involves personnel, budget, and operational responsibility.

The unit is also responsible for managing agency-wide working models and leading and coordinating the agency's sustainability efforts.

Your workplace will be in Stockholm or Östersund.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university or college degree at least at the bachelor's level in relevant fields
  • At least three years of current experience coordinating and leading work with monitoring and evaluation at a government agency
  • At least three years of current experience in monitoring and evaluation of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Just Transition Fund
  • Experience in designing and procuring evaluations
  • Experience in monitoring methodology
  • Good knowledge of regional development policy and European cohesion policy
  • Good methodological knowledge in the area of monitoring and evaluation
  • Good knowledge of the funding process for EU funds and national support
  • Good knowledge of data quality assurance
  • Good knowledge of how government agencies are governed
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of English in speech and writing

The following are meritorious:

  • Experience in disseminating knowledge from reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Experience leading remote work with geographically dispersed employees
  • Leadership training
  • Knowledge of Tillväxtverket's case management system (Nyps) and support systems
  • Knowledge of the monitoring and indicator system for regional development policy and cohesion policy
